South African Wins MRS World 2016, Candice Abrahams has made Africans and South Africans proud by winning the Mrs World title. She was presented with the crown at the 27th annual edition of the event, which was well decorated with glamour and perfection, a truly colorful ceremony which held at Goodview Hotel Tangxia in Dongguan, China.

The beauty queen was crowned Mrs South Africa last year in October at Emperor’s Palace in Johannesburg. The Boss Models Johannesburg model is married to Metro FM DJ, Ismail Abrahams and is a proud mother of two.

Abrahams is a model of hope as she is the first from Africa to be awarded the title of Mrs World, a pageant for married women. She was quoted by the East Coast radio expressing how she felt honored by the achievement. According to Abrahams, it had always been a dream of hers to win Mrs South Africa and to represent her country on the international stage; to be bringing home the title is just the cherry on top of her achievements.

The new Mrs World went up against 45 other married women from different countries and ended up on the top two with Mrs Poland just before she scooped the crown. Abrahams is a model, aspiring actress, fashion and décor blogger. She is also a business woman.

During the competition, the mother of two paraded in her national costume which was designed by Anel Botha and an accompanying headpiece by Riana Conradie.
