Miss South Africa 2023 Pageant has missed one of her contestants. The young queen and undergraduate of Law withdrew from the contest yesterday.

The queen withdrew because of bullying accusations levelled against her by a lady from her childhood. The woman first posted back in May that Laverne bullied her during their childhood. Recently, another one said she was bullied and her mother intimidated by the beautiful queen also when they were all less than sixteen years old.

Laverne José responded by apologizing and saying she was fighting back from being bullied too. She therefore regrets if her act of self-defense harmed others. She went further to withdraw from the pageant and become even more vocal against bullying.
